1. Why does JAC require artwork to be in a 'vectored' format?

Our art department requests that clients produce what is known as 'vector' or native Illustrator art for a number of reasons. In the end, vector art will produce the best quality. In preparing a job for printing, we often times need to change colors, separate those colors or resize logos. With vector art - found in such programs as Adobe Illustrator and Freehand - the lines are smooth and clean. The files can be easily edited.

2. Does JAC USB 2.0 flash drive support ReadyBoost function for Windows Vista?

Yes, JAC USB 2.0 flash drives do support ReadyBoost function.

3. What is JAC's lead time?

Standard lead time is 3 - 5 Business days after receipt of approved artwork & order. If needed in less than 3 business days a $50.00 rush charge will apply. BTO lead time is 7 - 10 business days.

4. What is Data Pre-Load?

Data preload is simply loading any kind of data into USB Flash Drives and users can access it at will. More and more companies have leveraged USB Flash Drives as a media to distribute information. As opposed to using printed materials, distributing files and content on USB Drives has many advantages, such as saving paper, multimedia and interactive capability. On the other hand, USB Drives out-perform CD-ROM by allowing last minute changes (even post-event changes!) and offering content control.

5. What is AutoRun?

AutoRun causes a certain file to open or a certain program/file to run automatically as soon as a Pen Drive is inserted into the USB port. The action taken, is determined by a file called AUTORUN.INF. If the file to be opened is a music or multimedia file, the feature is called AutoPlay. In Macintosh computers, AutoRun is called AutoStart.

6. What is Password Protection?

7. What is the Transfer Rate?

Date transfer rate for Read is from 12MB/s to 30MB/s, for Write is 4MB/s to 14MB/s in Dual-channel mode

Date transfer rate for Read is from 8MB/s to 15MB/s, for Write is 2MB/s to 8MB/s in Single-channel mode
